BS in Administration of Justice

Criminal justice? Law? Social services? Interested? Then a major in administration of justice is for you. In this major you go beyond narrow technical topics to grasp the larger role of justice administration in society.

The course offerings covers the justice system, as well as the social, human, and moral problems raised in the administration of justice. A major in administration of justice will prepare you for a career in law, law enforcement, corrections, social services, probation, or juvenile justice.

A concentration is a way to pursue in depth an interest in one field of the major. The ADJ program offers six different concentrations. You must complete five courses (15 credits) from one of the fields:

  • Research and Policy Analysis
  • Management and Planning
  • Computers and Information Management
  • Social Work
  • Foreign Language
  • Field Experience (Internship)
